Vacancy: Part-time Media and Communications Fellow

CDP-G is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Media and Communications Fellow. The ideal candidate will be a senior team member who coordinates efforts, including better and more effective communication between Afghanistan’s exiled civil society organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote collaboration and coordination among civil society organizations.
  • Create and disseminate media materials, including press releases, social media content, and reports, to raise awareness about the benefits of collaboration.
  • Coordinate with partner organizations to organize events, workshops, and trainings to facilitate networking and capacity building.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication efforts and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, donors, and other stakeholders to advocate for policy changes and reforms that support civil society organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in media relations, social media management, and content creation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and organizations.
  • Knowledge of the civil society sector in Afghanistan is preferred.
